Kyle Chalmers, 25, officially has a new lady in his life.
The Australian athlete is confirmed to be dating Norwegian swimmer Ingeborg Løyning.
“Yes, we are a couple. We have been there for quite some time, since around December,” Løyning recently told TV 2
“That is not the whole reason, but one of the reasons why I went down to train in Australia.”

Chalmers’ relationship news comes after claims he was part of a ‘love triangle’ involving two fellow swimmers – singer Cody Simpson, 26, and Emma McKeon, 29.
Rumours suggested a rift emerged between Chalmers and Simpson and McKeon after the latter pair confirmed their relationship in 2022. Chalmers and McKeon were previously romantically linked.

However, all rumours of a ‘love triangle’ drama in the Dolphins team were blasted by Chalmers in a post-race press conference.
“It’s all just false news that’s actually crap,” he said.
“It’s a load of s–t that’s not true. It’s words getting put in mouths and you wanting to make a story out of nothing.”
Simpson also addressed the speculation of a rift between the trio.
“We’re all teammates. I’m not sure how he or she are dealing with that,” he said.
“But in saying that, in the warm-up and out on deck we’ve all been teammates, regardless of whatever may have been.”
How long have Cody Simpson and Emma McKeon been together?
The Pretty Brown Eyes singer confirmed his relationship with McKeon in July 2022 after months of rumours they were more than friends.
Simpson went Instagram official with their romance by sharing photos holding hands with the 11-time Olympic medallist in Barcelona.
“A brief rendezvous in Barcelona with my love,” he captioned the series of sweet snaps.
The pair seem to still be going strong as of November 2023 where Simpson posted pics with his girlfriend to Instagram, including one kissing McKeon’s cheek.

McKeon and Chalmers reportedly dated for a few months in 2021 before calling it quits.

Chalmers and his relationship with Simpson was the subject of media backlash in the leadup to the world championships in Budapest in 2022, amid reports the singer was dating his ex-girlfriend.
Chalmers was villainised in the media for beating Simpson to a spot on what would have been his first national team after he previously said he would not compete in the event.
The Olympian later revealed the mental health toll the media coverage had on him.

Reports of a rift continued into the Commonwealth Games after Chalmers withdrew from the 100m butterfly – an event he shared with Simpson.
Chalmers also appeared to ‘brush’ past Simpson at the Australian world championship trials.
