Young and talented social media star Eva Evans has sadly passed away.
You may have seen her on TikTok, or in her viral web comedy series Club Rat — but either way, the New York influencer probably made you laugh. And while she had a promising future ahead of her, it’s tragically been cut short.

On Sunday, Eva’s sister Lila announced in a heartbreaking Instagram post that the “fabulous, creative, caring” social media star is no longer with us. She wrote:
“please share this post so that it reaches everyone it needs to. yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died. after 24 hours, i still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so i know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be.”
Wow. So, so sad. She added:
“i wish i had Eva here now to refer to because she would have better words and know how to say what i don’t. i am keeping this brief, so we can plan for the next few days, but you’ll be hearing a lot more from me on how much Eva means to me and just how different the world will be be without her.”
Heartbreaking.
Lila added that the family plans to hold a celebration of life for Eva on Tuesday in lower Manhattan. More details on that (below):
Eva’s cause of death has not yet been made clear.
Eva’s Club Rat series premiered last year and follows a New York influencer attempting to date after her breakup goes viral.
In her final Instagram post last week, she posed in an NYC subway. The Hills star Lo Bosworth has since paid tribute to her in the comments:
“Rest in peace, angel Eva
you were always kind to me when others couldn’t be bothered. Will never forget that kindness.”
