Taylor Swift has teased Swifties with a hint of exciting things to come while accepting her latest award.
The pop princess won the fan-voted Artist of the Year award at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles on Monday (US time).

NSYNC’s Lance Bass and Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean announced the award and the winner for Pop Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year, acknowledging their love for the singer and declaring themselves Swifties.
Unable to accept the award in person, Swift shared a pre-recorded acceptance speech, telling fans she had “exciting things coming up.”

“Hey! I wanted to say thank you so much to anyone who voted for this award,” she said.
“iHeart, you’ve also just been so incredibly supportive over the course of my entire career, but especially this year has been pretty spectacular. I am so grateful for that.”
Swift also paid tribute to her growing fan base, thanking them for supporting her music and the record-breaking Eras Tour.
“You know, to the fans, it is completely up to you to choose how you spend your time, what concerts you want to go to, what music you want to make the soundtrack of your life,” she said.

“And to anyone who has included me in those choices, I am so, so, so thankful for that.”
The Cruel Summer singer also discussed the upcoming release of her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
“We have so many exciting things ahead of us. I’m continuing with the tour, and, most importantly, I have a brand new album called The Tortured Poets Department, which comes out on April 19,” Swift continued.

Earning nine nominations, Swift was leading at the iHeartRadio Music Awards; she was also up for pop song of the year, TikTok bop of the year and her song Is It Over Now was in the best lyrics category.
Swift’s fashion sense at the Eras Tour and concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour also earned her a nomination for best tour style.
