Taylor Swift has fallen victim to a reality Aussies know all too well.
The pop princess was performing her highly anticipated Sydney leg of her Eras Tour when fans noticed her hair had completely transformed mid-show.
Swift’s hair had gone from sleek and stylish to frizzy after just a few songs, a result of Sydney’s humidity which got up to 89 per cent during her Friday show.

TikTok star Lucia Pang, posted a video that showed Swift’s hair perfectly styled before the weather of Sydney’s night one show began to show its impact on her appearance, by the end of the video her hair was back to its natural frizz and curls.
Swifties were cautioned that the Friday night show at Accor Stadium might be cancelled, facing high temperatures of 38°C throughout the day, with warnings of a storm looming.
Thankfully, fans were only temporarily ushered inside away from thunder and lightning, before the weather surprisingly cleared up and concertgoers were allowed back into the stadium.
The viral TikTok video saw hundreds of fans empathising with Swift’s frizzy hair moment, quickly garnering over 2 million views.

One user commented: “She made me feel so much better about my hair doing the same thing 😂”
“I’m pleased it doesn’t just happen to us ordinary folk! I always blamed my products but even the expensive ones and the best blowout can’t stop the frizz!” another added.
Some noted the wild weather conditions on Friday. “Yesterday was quiet[sic] literally the worst day to perform 😅 sooo hot and then the storm shot the humidity up so quickly.”
Swift has naturally curly hair, which a fan said makes this funny moment unavoidable.
“Taylor and I have similar colours and textures. It’s almost impossible to prevent this. No product will stop it. Better to just embrace it 💜”
