Super Bowl 2024 Halftime Show: All the details from Usher’s Super Bowl half-time show


It’s the Kansas City Chiefs versus the San Francisco 49ers, but we all know who the real star of Super Bowl LVII.

The one, the only, Usher.

The OMG singer took to the stage at half-time to give crowds the performance of a lifetime, and he was joined by a myriad of celebrity special guests on the field’s stage.

The superstar performed three decades of his music, with the NFL giving him an extra two minutes to cram it all in.

Where most half time performers are allocated a 12-minute slot, Usher was given 15.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the superstar confirmed ahead of the show that there will indeed be surprise guests taking the stage with him.

And the singer did not disappoint.

All the celebrities spotted at the 2024 Super Bowl

He kicked off the performance with Caught Up from his 2004 album Confessions.

Wearing an all white outfit custom Dolce and Gabbana outfit with a silver sequined top, Usher showed off some impressive moves before bringing out his first surprise guest of the night.

Alicia Keys was sat at a red grand piano in a stunning Dolce and Gabbana bedazzled red jumpsuit singing If I Aint Got You, before launching into a duet with Usher.

The two then performed Usher’s 2004 hit My Boo.

The Yeah! singer took to the next stage to perform the title song off his album, Confession, Part II.

The singer then decided to give the people want they want and took off his shirt, a move that was followed be a flawless guitar solo from H.E.R as Usher disappeared from the stage.

With a quick fit change he reappeared in a custom Off-White blue and black outfit, completed with a set of roller skates.

The star skated around the stage, singing his song OMG, before bringing out his next surprise guest.

As the camera panned away from Usher, fans were treated to their first sight of rapper Lil John for just a few seconds of Turn Down For What, before Usher reappeared no longer in roller skates. 

The shoe change definitely sparked some discourse on social media.

Next came his number one hit Yeah! with Lil John and his final surprise guests, Ludacris and will.i.am, accompanied by a full marching band to close out the performance.

If there’s one thing we know to expect from the Super Bowl half-time show, it’s the drama, and Usher definitely did not disappoint.
