Kevin Turen death: Euphoria and The Idol producer dies age 44


Euphoria producer Kevin Turen has died at the age of 44, it has been revealed.

His father Edward Turen confirmed the sad news in a statement given to Deadline.

“Kevin was so incredibly special, this world is going to be less without him,” his father said.

According to Deadline, he ”died suddenly” on the weekend. A cause of death is not yet known.

His close friend Jay Penske said that Turen was one of Hollywood’s ”brightest rising stars” in a statement.

“Despite his many achievements in Hollywood, Kevin’s greatest passion was his family and friends. He was so proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were resolved that their children grow up with great values and ensured they make a difference in the broader world,” Penske, CEO of Penske Media Corporation said.

“Our collective heart breaks for them, and we all feel such a profound sense of loss. We will miss Kevin so much, and this town lost one of its brightest rising stars today.”

He is survived by his wife and two sons.

Turen is also known for his work on The Idol.

White Lotus star Lukas Gage wrote on his Instagram story: “Rest in peace Kevin.”

It comes after Euphoria star Angus Cloud died in July, at the age of 25 after an accidental overdose.

“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways,” a statement from his family read in part.

Cloud rose to fame in 2019 thanks to his Euphoria role as Fezco, a drug dealer with a sweet nature who was close to Zendaya‘s character Rue.
