The pair married so that her sister-in-law, Sandra Brant, could attend the wedding. Sandra lost her battle with stage-four bowel cancer shortly after.

The couple met in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! back in 2015.

However, they only hit it off after they caught up a year later.

“The next series had already been on,” Lauren told Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny breakfast show. “And we were both on the Gold Coast and we said ‘let’s finally catch up’…and we caught up!”

The former Hi-5 singer added: “I think with being able to eat and have comfort and hair and makeup and all of that stuff which we didn’t have in the jungle, we liked each other.”

Nova FM host Chrissie Swan was in the jungle with them, but she said she never witnessed any sparks fly between them.

Lauren explained: “There was nothing… We’re so mentally and physically exhausted, you don’t like anyone. You don’t even like yourself.”

Shortly after the birth of Miller, Brant admitted on Instagram with her followers that she was “not coping” as she adjusted to being a first time mother.

She wrote in her post at the time: “So today… has sucked! I love Miller with all my heart and I love being a mother, HIS mother! But today…. I realised that I have not been kind enough to myself and this is a HUGE problem because when I get run down, agitated or sad, I’m a lesser mum. I become less patient and less present.”

“He is constantly trying to get close to me, hold my face, feel my skin against his and get comfort from breastfeeding,” Brant wrote. “I love that he loves me that much, but I feel drained and so damn exhausted.”

”I admit I am just not coping,” she wrote.

“I know I’ll get my mo-jo back and I know Miller and I will work it out. I just have to remind myself that I can’t look after everyone and I can’t do everything all the time.”

Later, she thanked her fans for their support.
